On a still bare plot of land in the immediate vicinity of its La Chevrolière plant twenty kilometres from Nantes, ARMOR is to double the production surface it dedicates to Thermal Transfer – a 40 million euro investment which confirms more than ever before the Group’s determination to sustain and develop its TT activity in Nantes.

An investment that is part of a global strategy

Through this new centre, ARMOR is sustaining its activity in Nantes in the long term and strengthening synergies between the Group’s subsidiaries across the world.

The opening of our production unit in China in 2004 was aimed at enabling us to serve the local market in a reactive way, by bringing us as close as possible to our Chinese customers. This opening also generated new prospects for the La Chevrolière plant; these new opportunities are part of the reason for the investment announced today. La Chevrolière manufactures jumbos (rolls of TT films), which are then transformed and packaged by the Chinese plant for its own national market.
