It gives me great pleasure to wish you and your families all the very best for 2019!
 
2018 was an especially intense year for all the Group's businesses. ARMOR confirmed its position as global market leader for the production of thermal transfer consumables used in the printing of labels and barcodes. The highlights of the year were sales volume (+10%), the acquisition of new sites (Turkey, Colombia and Kenya) and the acquisition of the thermal transfer business of Iconex in the USA.

In the area of print services, ARMOR also confirmed its position as market leader in recycled inkjet cartridges.  The Group established a strategic alliance with Speed Infotech.  The launch of OWA Print Services also breaks fresh ground in the printing services offered to companies.

ARMOR developed new innovative products as demonstrated by the launch of the Kimya brand, dedicated to the production of filaments used in additive manufacturing. ARMOR Beautiful Light, the business responsible for producing the ASCA® photovoltaic film, developed new applications in the fields of construction and mobile solutions, notably in order to meet energy demands in isolated regions and those without electricity supply.

The development of new product ranges for ARMOR Films for Batteries and the founding of ARMOR Advanced Coatings to develop new coating applications establish exciting possibilities in each of the markets.
 
Strongly committed to social innovation, in 2018 ARMOR took part in the International Solar Alliance in India. We are also very proud to have become a board member of the UN's Global Compact France.
 
Our goal in 2019 is to continue to innovate, creating an ever more responsible industry that serves wider society. Determined to pursue our innovative projects, we have decided to invest heavily in the future: industrial plant, robotization and digital transformation in order to strive to make ARMOR a French industrial company that faces up to the social, economic and ecological challenges of our world!
