Qualicert certification: quality at the forefront

See all news
The OWA range of laser cartridges has obtained certification for a further 3 years against the Qualicert standard Collection, sorting and recycling of empty laser printer cartridges – production and distribution of remanufactured laser printer cartridges. OWA has become the first and only industrial entity to be certified against this standard by SGS, the world's leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. This certification confirms the quality of the products and services ARMOR undertakes to deliver to its partners.

Qualicert, certification of products and services
The Qualicert standard for Collection, sorting and recycling of empty laser printer cartridges – production and distribution of remanufactured laser printer cartridges covers the environment, safety and product quality, encompassing two types of service:
services directly noticed by consumers: cartridge collection and sorting, dismantling of materials for recycling, customer services and provision of a materials report.
services ensuring the quality of remanufactured cartridges: organizational quality, quality controls and personnel training.

The standard therefore serves as a set of specifications for any organization seeking to introduce a virtuous recycling circle for laser printer cartridges.

Some 36 aspects of ARMOR's services and production process were certified under the standard, including distribution, collection, sorting, recycling, repackaging and production.

"Renewal of the certification is clear proof of the constant desire of ARMOR Office Printing to maintain its commitment to supply quality products and services to its users", states Gerwald van der Gijp, Director of ARMOR Office Printing.
